Oriflame | Behind the brand

I have always been curious about brands that blend grooming with wellness, so when Oriflame sent over a selection of their mens fragrances and supplements, I was genuinely excited to see how they fit into my routine. What surprised me most is how cohesive the range feels. Everything is designed to support you from the inside out, without ever feeling clinical or complicated.

The fragrances were the first thing I gravitated towards. Both scents have that polished, masculine edge that works for everyday life. They are the kind of fragrance you can wear to a meeting, to dinner and everything in between. They are modern, clean, and confident without shouting for attention. I love that they sit close to the skin yet still draw compliments. It is very quiet luxury, which is exactly my lane.

Then there is their wellness range, which honestly impressed me more than I expected. The vitamins feel purposeful. They are easy to take, well formulated, and ideal for someone like me who is constantly on the move and often forgets to look after the basics. Adding them into my daily routine felt like a small but meaningful step towards taking better care of my energy levels and overall health.

The protein and shaker set completes the lifestyle picture. I am not a bodybuilder by any stretch, but having a clean, good tasting protein option on hand has been incredibly helpful on long shoot days or mornings when I am running out the door. It is convenient, it is simple, and it feels like you are choosing something good for yourself rather than grabbing the nearest snack.

Overall, Oriflame has won me over. Their products feel considered, reliable, and ideal for anyone wanting to refine their grooming and wellness routine without overthinking it. It is a brand that supports you in looking good and feeling good, and honestly, that is the kind of energy I am taking into everything I do right now.

We sat down with the Director of Oriflame – UK and Ireland Craig White and got the low down.

1. How did you first get involved with Oriflame?

I had been traveling for a couple of years and feared returning to traditional employment, looking at the same 4 walls after being almost ‘free’ for two years. I entered direct selling through another company and stayed for 17 years. When that company shut down, I took time to find a new opportunity. I wasn’t in a rush, I was financially free and wanted something that aligned with my values. I discovered Oriflame, initially dismissed it, but came back to it. After researching Oriflame in depth, I emailed the UK head office and asked if I could meet up with the Managing Director, Sofia Radomska. Maybe a week later, she came up to my house in Peterborough with with Mary, who I believe was the Sales Manager at the time and their passion for Oriflame almost cemented it and sold it to me. I instantly felt aligned with the company’s vision.

2. Were you hesitant about entering the beauty industry as a man?

Yes, I questioned how a man fits into the beauty world, but I knew there was space for me. Initially, I thought I’d help others get back on their feet and then move on. But I quickly realized Oriflame was the right choice for me personally and professionally, and it was mass market appeal. I kind of knew in my heart that everybody could succeed in Oriflame. It was actually the best decision I could have made for myself, after seven years at Oriflame somehow reminds me that that was the best decision I have made, from both a business and personal point of view.

3. Did Oriflame already have men’s products when you joined?

Oriflame had just launched the NovAge Men’s skin care set when I joined, which had won awards in Europe being recognised as ‘one of the top men’s skin care sets’. Oriflame also offered wellness products and some fragrances for men, I’ve always been into supplements and protein shakes, but in comparison it was a very small percentage to what Oriflame offers for ladies.

4. How big is your team today?

We launched in the UK around May 2018. Since then, the team has expanded to thousands across the UK, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Mexico, Indonesia, and India. Some are casual users, others are building significant income, everyone’s here for the own reasons.

5. What tips would you give to build a six-figure income in network marketing?

Focus on consistency. The core of the business, recommending products and building a customer base, hasn’t changed since I started in 2001. Treat it like any career: show up every day, give value, and support your team. Build trust and repeat business. In reality, to build a six figure income is no different than what it is to build a £200 a month income because the principles are the same. We share the products that we genuinely love and recommend, and simply support people to do the same thing. Between my wife and I, we personally average around £1200 of customer sales to our own customers every 3 weeks, without really trying.

6. How do you maintain motivation?

I’ve always had a strong work ethic and a “what next” mindset, willing to work harder for myself than I would for somebody else. I want to help 50 people earn £10K/month and through committing to others, it keeps me accountable. Even though I could retire, passion and genuine love for what I do keeps me going.

7. How do you build trust and credibility as a male in a female-dominated industry?

By using social media authentically. I started with a simple post about trying the men’s skincare range and asking women to test the product for free and provide honest feedback. That small action led to major success in building the UK’s top skincare sales team for Oriflame. Consistency, transparency, and sharing my real life, as a husband and dad, built trust with my audience.
