There are some shows at London Fashion Week where you know the designers are laying down a marker. AGRO Studio was one of them. Founded by George and Angus, both LCF graduates, the studio has grown out of years of saying yes to everything. Dressing musicians, making pieces for film, styling and tailoring jobs that built a reputation brick by brick. That background came through on the runway with a confidence that felt earned.

Their SS25 collection, titled Prophet, played with contradictions. Couture ball gowns with school shirting, leather clashing with tulle, shearling against technical fabrics. It was chaos on paper but harmonious in reality, and that balance is quickly becoming AGRO’s signature.

The references were clear without being too literal. Tarot cards, the jester, and the confusion of the modern age ran through the collection. Colour stayed soft and muted but was punctuated by flashes of yellow and hand painted detail. Traditional corsetry sat next to streetwear finishes, while hand beading and leather craft kept the whole thing rooted in artisanal technique. The closing looks leaned into grandeur, the kind of theatrical finales you expect from Westwood or Dior, but twisted through a distinctly London lens.

Until now AGRO Studio has been focused on made to measure pieces for artists and film projects. With Prophet they opened up to a wider audience, presenting a collection that was still bold and playful but more accessible. It felt like a proper introduction to the kind of customer they are speaking to: free thinking, unapologetic, and not afraid to invest in a statement.

The atmosphere matched the clothes. A soundtrack by WFB Live and movement direction from Jorge Fujizaki gave the show its rhythm, while the styling and in house atelier team kept everything tight. You could feel the energy of a team that had put their whole selves into it.

AGRO Studio’s arrival on the official London Fashion Week schedule felt like a rite of passage. Prophet wasn’t just a collection, it was a statement that they are here, raw and fearless, with a point of view that is entirely their own.
